Meet your therapist

Hi, I'm Rey

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in San Diego with 13+ years of experience, working with individuals and couples in person and online across California and Florida. My style is warm and direct: we'll make room for the hard things, and I'll gently challenge the patterns that keep you stuck. You'll leave sessions with something to try, not just something to think about.

What brings you here?

Whatever you're carrying, you don't have to carry it alone. These are the concerns I most often help clients work through.

Anxiety & Stress

Racing thoughts, persistent worry, tension you can feel in your body, nights spent replaying the day. Anxiety has a way of shrinking your world. Together we'll get curious about what fuels your anxiety, learn to calm your nervous system, and build practical skills so worry stops making your decisions for you.

Depression & Low Mood

When everything feels heavy, even small tasks can seem impossible, and pretending you're fine is exhausting. Therapy offers a place to set the mask down. We'll work to understand what's underneath the low mood, reconnect you with what matters, and take small, doable steps back toward energy and meaning.

Life Transitions & New Parenthood

A new baby, a new career, a move, a loss, even change you chose can leave you unsteady. Identity has a way of wobbling when life shifts. Together we'll hold space for both the grief and the growth, so you don't just get through the transition, you actually move through it.

Relationships & Communication

Feeling unheard, having the same argument on repeat, or drifting apart? Relationship patterns are learned, which means they can be unlearned. Whether in individual or couples work, we'll map the cycle you're stuck in and practice new ways of reaching each other.

How I can help

Start wherever feels right. Every path leads to the same first step: a free, no-pressure conversation.
